I am continually amazed by the natural beauty of our island. It’s impossible to get used to it.
The moving harmony between the sea and the mountains, the perfect lines of a vine leaf, the joyful song of a bird, the powdery sensation of a hand caressing a stone…
We live in beauty, from the infinitely small to the infinitely large, from the past to desire, a beauty that is very “full”, charged with emotions.
I am determined to preserve this grace, to testify to it, and to share it. Wine is my medium for transmitting this beauty.
Beauty is delicate, sometimes fleeting; it’s a difficult task to preserve it. One more touch on a canvas and the beauty is gone.
My quest for beauty is a perception of my senses that I try to transmit perfectly pure in my wines, in form as well as content.
Because beauty is inevitably true.

Honest wines that don’t lie.
TRUE.
I don’t like disguises and frills. I am pragmatic, and anchored to the earth. Truth is a simple and natural need for me.
My wines are like this.
Like the calligrapher who shouldn’t retrace his stroke, a wine should promise balance from the graft, without subsequent manipulations or other additives aimed at masking a flaw.
GOOD.
What makes a good wine?
The answer is inevitably subjective, as it is inherent to each person’s taste, with a cultural influence besides.
My quest for good is THE BALANCE, with three basic elements inherent to every winemaker’s search: tannins, acidity, and alcohol content. No element should overshadow another.
I add three elements to my quest to make very good wine: identity, emotion, and “that little something extra“.
IDENTITY is the wine’s ability to tell the story of its cycle: I like my wines to easily reveal their origin.
A good wine must provide EMOTION. A fleeting emotion that gives you immediate pleasure, and will succeed in making you smile from the aperitif.
An inner emotion that makes you travel in our terroir, when the wine is tasted slowly. A shared emotion, offering a moment of communion with your loved ones in the pleasure of savoring a bottle of wine together. An emotion that marks a moment.

Finally, “that little something extra” is something inexplicable, that snaps fingers, a MAGIC that operates, an unexpected aromatic surprise, to which, once unveiled, I give its full place..
